ABOUT US

The International Center on Birth Defects (ICBD) is located in Rome, Italy in the Central Office of the International Clearinghouse for Birth Defects Surveillance and Research (ICBDSR - Clearinghouse in short), coordinating the surveillance activities and collaborative research studies of the organization.
The Clearinghouse is a voluntary non profit International organization in official relationship with WHO.
The organization brings together birth defects surveillance and research programmes from around the world with the aim of investigating and preventing birth defects and lessening the impact of their consequences. In now has 46 member programmes worldwide.
